Nature Explorers Club is a year-long curriculum focusing on a nature topic, relating to the season, each week. It is flexible and easily adapted to the needs and capabilities of your learning making the curriculum suitable for all ages. Even adults will enjoy following along!
Each week you will find information about each subject followed by a song or poem, a book suggestion, themed hiking or exploring goal, journal prompt, a themed snack, and activities. You should be able to find the books at your local library. The snacks and activities need minimal prep and are not costly. You will not need to print or purchase a large amount of supplies. Most activities include natural items you can find around your home and supplies you likely already have on hand.
Worried you do not have a suitable natural space around you? No need to worry! Anyplace where you can see the sky, feel the ground, and touch nature is perfect.
This budget friendly curriculum is fun for the whole family! It can be used year after year or you can visit this site each August to purchase the next volume with all new topics and activities!
If you have questions about adapting the lessons to fit your needs, please reach out! I would love to work with you on bringing this curriculum to your home, classroom, co-op, or other group.
Please take a look at the sample lessons below. Click the link to purchase. You will receive the curriculum as a downloadable PDF. I suggest using Barnes and Noble Press if you would like to have this printed in book form. You do not need to do that. You can view online or print and add to a binder.
You will find 48 lesson plans designed to get your family excited to learn and explore the world around us.
